There are 2 services that you’ll need for a functioning site - a domain and a website hosting plan for it. Whenever you type the domain name in your web browser, you see the content that is uploaded inside the web hosting account, but if that domain address is not linked to such an account or to an e-mail service, it's parked. In other words, the domain name is registered and you are its owner, but it doesn't have any content of its own. Instead, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” webpage from the registrar company, or it can be forwarded to some other URL of your choice. The advantage of parking a domain address is that you can keep it and make certain that no one else is going to take it. Meanwhile, it's not going to block a slot for a hosted domain in your account. In addition, you can park domains if you have a .com, for example, and you register domains with other extensions such as .net, .org or country-code ones to direct them to the main web site as a way to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Cloud Hosting

If you have a Linux cloud hosting from our company, you are going to be able to park all of your domains with ease. The function is offered for the domain names registered with us, and not for the ones that are only hosted here and directed from some other company, as a domain address can be parked only through its registrar. Our Domain Manager instrument will enable you to pick from a variety of templates and you're going to be able to add custom text to any one of them. Forwarding a domain name to a new URL is as easy as just typing the Internet address and saving it. If you decide to host any of your parked domain addresses, it takes simply a mouse click to do it and our system is going to do the rest - changing the name servers, setting up a domain folder in your account, setting up the necessary DNS records, etc. For simpler management, you are going to be able to filter the domain addresses registered in the account by their status - parked or hosted.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Servers

If you acquire a semi-dedicated server plan from our company, you are going to be able to register and park as many domain names as you wish. Different to other providers, we will not charge you an additional fee for this feature. You are able to park a domain name with just two mouse clicks through the Domain Manager instrument, that you can access via the Hepsia hosting CP. If you choose to use a template, you'll have a few different ones available and you will be able to add custom text to each of them. The feature-rich Domain Manager enables you to set filters and see only the hosted or only the parked domain names within your account. Using the same tool, you can also un-park a domain and host it within your account with only a mouse click. Our system will change the name servers of the domain name and will create its folder inside the File Manager section, and the needed DNS records for it, automatically.
